Not that it is relevant, and might be a case of "thank you Capt Obvious!", but once engine+trans is removed, most engine stands count on bolting to the flywheel side bolt pattern, which make them useless when wanting to change the clutch.
So I made a cart out of a Harbor Freight moving dolly and 2x8's left over from a home project. Worked like a charm and let me roll it out of the way while I did all the firewall cleaning.
The oil pan bolts sit on the 2x8, which fit nicely between header and oil pan. Not tippy when trans is hung on it.

Well that's friggin' clever. Now I know what to do with my extra HF dolly. You people amaze me sometimes. This should go in the wiki with dimensions.

The moving of the transmission from the motor does not work with the engine fully mounted. You need to raise the engine otherwise the transmission will hit the x of the frame before it can be fully disassemble from the engine
