Turbo Teds 15 day, 4000 mile, Roadster Drive to the Mt Shasta Datsun Roadster Meet.

Will try for daily updates after this initial post of 5 days.
Roadsters running good. 1587 miles to date.
Doing Montana scenic side roads before heading to Shasta.

June 15 Seattle to Spokane. Stayed with DROPS member Jack K. 295 miles.
June 16 Spokane to Missoula. Visited and drove with DROPS members Pat M and Bob H. 336 miles.
June 17 Missoula to Bellevue Id. On Hwy 93 and 75 through the Sawtooth Mts. 340 miles.
June 18 Bellevue Id to Butte Mt. Back thru the Sawtooths and Salmon River and Big Hole Valley. 341 miles.
June 19 Butte to Butte. Loop in the Big Hole, Pioneer Mts and Jefferson Valley. 275 miles.

June 20. Butte to Helena. Loop on the Madison and Gallatin Rivers. Some short rain. 331 miles.

June 21. Helena- Great Falls-Helena loop. Fine uncrowded secondary roads and along the Missouri River. 298 miles.

You Teds enjoy the time together and driving those scenic winding roads with those awesome roadsters, wish we could join...

June 22. Tuesday. Helena MT. to Lewiston ID. 344 miles.
Done with Montana back roads. Off West and South to Shasta. Hot day. About 100 in Lewiston.
Did the Lolo Pass Route west bound. Hwy 12. Spectacular 100 miles of winding roads always by the Lochsa River
and the Clearwater River closer to Lewiston. Lots of river views. Highly recommended.

June 23. Wednesday. Lewiston ID. to Burns OR. 364 miles.

Good drive on one of the most scenic roads. Hwy 129/3 from Clarkston WA to Enterprise OR.
Drops 3000' down the Rattlesnake grade to the Grande Ronde River and back up on the Oregon side.
Traveling roadsters are not light weight. Trunk is full of spares and tools.

This is sooooo awesome!

The photos are terrific, and I've fished many of the rivers you've driven by. So I daydream about cruising those roads in my car someday – fly rod waving out the back of the car.
