I can imagine that, unless were careful in how we discuss this, that it could get locked later. But in the mean time... I found this very interesting to watch. Thank you for posting it. He makes several (what appear to be and may very well be) interesting points regarding emissions and the very complicated issue it is to solve. I can imagine that it might take a super computer or AI to analyze all the data and the overall impacts, including economic, social, political, environmental etc etc...

There is no doubt however that the air quality in So Cal has improved considerably from the 70s, and cars are much much cleaner than they used to be. Were emissions not required by the government and led by California, I wonder if you would be able to breath there now, let alone in Seattle. But as always there are multiple sides to this coin... I drive a pre--emissions car...

But I did just get 29mpg circumnavigating Mt Rainier with modernish EFI. 4 mpg improvement, and hopefully "cleaner". But no way as clean as my wife's Z3.
