The issue we had today

Pretty ugly incident today. We ran out of disk space without warning. First indication I got was from a member that emailed me asking about private messaging problems. I looked at the problem right away and realized there was an issue with the database server throwing errors. I then logged into the control panel and realized we were totally out of disk space. I asked the host provider for more disk space which equates to more money. The next issue was the corruption of several tables within the database the forum runs on. I had to work some database administrator tasks in order to recover the corrupt tables. I don't think we lost much if anything. With that said there are many folks helping out with donations and I really appreciate it but I could use some more help. I am not asking for much-actually anything will do. So, that is my pitch for more funds to keep the site up and running. I got additional disk space but want to ask for more to alleviate this occurring again. Happy Memorial Day to all the veterans, first responders and police offices.
