Hello all! I am looking for a low windshield dash pad. The only thing I have found is one from one of the vendors for $600+ which is a bit steep for me. Does anyone know of any cheaper options?

I am in the [slow] process of making one from a yoga mat and polyurethane adhesive.
It is progressing well, but not yet finished.
I am up to the step of a trial fit to the metal in the car.
Now that our fine weather is over, I can get back to a few chores which will take the car off the road for a while
I promise to document it all so if you are game, you can attempt it yourself.

Matthew, is the original missing or just very bad. Many bad ones are getting repaired.

I don't have the original at all, it was tossed before I got the car. So, yes, I have the dash and all the gauges, but it has no pad on it.
