Fun Run: From South to Solvang 4/24/21 @7:30 am

A couple of roadsters are making their way up to Solvang to have lunch. Please contact Ron Eastman (east media) directly if you have any questions.

The plan: Meet at Woodlake Bowl in Woodland Hills at 7:30. Drive up the 101 to santa barbara, then the mountain road to solvang. Lunch somewhere in solvang. I liked that sandwich place. Home down 101 to Oxnard then PCH to Santa Monica.

Im staying at Cachuma lake that weekend, had it planned for Solvang. If you guys are taking 154 to Solvang stop by my camp and I’ll grill up some burgers and suds for y’all!

Peter, that is the route I was thinking as well. We can either take Balcolm or Grimes over to Santa Paula.
If we stay on the 192 for a couple miles past the 154, there is a road called North San Marcos Road that has some nice twisties and views, and then hits the 154 at the top. Also just after it hits the 154, (maybe 2 miles or so) there is a shunt called Stagecoach road. It has some great vistas as well, passes under a really cool bridge, and then it reconnects with the 154 just before the lake.

A couple of folks had reached out to me about this upcoming fun run.
Looks like we have Ron, Todd, Bart, Karen, and myself so far.
We're still planning on grabbing lunch at Solvang and if anyone of you NorCal folks are free "Alvin" feel free to meet up that would be great!

Ooooh. Sounds fun. You should work in Foxen Cyn and Tepusquet Cyn. I wish I could make it, but it's my sons birthday that day.....

Yep, I got my car back on the road Saturday, and went for a drive up Stunt Road/Mulholland yesterday. All seems good for a Solvang run. I will definitely need some sunblock. Between the drive and a bike ride yesterday, I got torched.

I'm unable to make it this weekend, but I'd be down to meet some of the fellow SoCal roadster owners. Would love to plan or help plan a drive in the future. I'll keep an eye out here to see how it goes. Safe driving!

Here are some pictures from the Fun run up to Solvang.
As usual, Todd got stopped by some fans in Solvang and talked about the car.
The best part of attending the morning was getting a Roadster mask to wear around Solvang...Thanks Karen D!
I have to say that Solvang look mighty open as it was packed that day.
