Brake bleeder port

Post by MattC »

Hi all,

Just got my calipers back from Apple Hydraulics and they look pretty good!

Quick question...am I assuming correctly that the port with the little rubber insert is the one for the bleeder/checkball?

No, that is for the line that goes to the block which is bolted to the dust shield. The bleeder goes on the other caliper.

Yeah, it can be confusing if you didn't pay close attention. The one with the two "innies" is the inner caliper and has the bleeder. The one with the "outie" is the outer caliper. Nice looking calipers.

Thanks, sounds like they have Karps in So Cal beat by more than a bit.

Those look like wheel cylinders to me. Ready to bolt onto your calipers.

You caught my typo! Yes, just the cylinders...calipers stayed home and waited for the mail.
