I am new to the site. It was recomended to me by Tim in Irvine when I bought his 67.5 2000. I have had a 67.5 1600 for years that has needed a full restoration and look forward to starting it after the first of the year. I would love to make a few roadster runs. I have booked a room for solvang but dont know if I need to register or were to get more info.

Welcome.
How lucky you are to have to 67.5s!
There is a lot of great information on the main site and here in the forums.

Welcome Erick, nice to have another new member. As to Solvang it is usually the end of April. The person who used to run it has stepped down so no telling when registration packets might get mailed. I usually get a copy to post on the main website once it is available. Just keep checking back often. It is still a bit early to get too excited.

OOHH! Erick brought up my favorite subject.... Solvang!
I better stop working on the truck and start on the roadster to get ready for my most dear date - seeing you all at solvang

Let's see... New seat covers..... Detail the engine compartment.... shine the wheels... fix the vinyl on the back shelf..

Why do I do all this? Not to win a trophy but to be one pretty roadster in the good company of other pretty roadsters.

Chuck,

I have number 585. If I am correct, I believe number 525 was restored by les and is on my desktop for a backround. A very beautiful car.

How far is the Shasta run from socal ?

I wish number 525 was the one Les restored. I actually have 525 in garage. Well its really not a car right now, it's more like a pile of parts. Restoration in progress, a long, slow and expensive progress.

But, I still look at it everyday, I have issues.

585 was the car Mike Young restored, I believe. It was owned by Jeff Fraiser in Texas, then by Tim Miner. As usual I may be wrong.

Happy Holidays!

That is 585 and the spokes on the wheels are painted black. I got the car from Tim earlier this month. Christmas came early for me. :D
