The Primadonna Z

Post by Alvin »

I'm busting.
The remaining Primadonna Z has been found and today it was reunited with its creator, some 36 years later. It will be restored back to its former glory by ZCG. I'm going to take a deep dive look at it tomorrow.

Enjoy!

I'm sure it is a personal taste thing, but that is hideous to me. I can appreciate the amount of work and skill it took.

I agree with Tom and greydog. It looks like he tried to meld a Porsche 935 and a Lamborghini Countach. Certainly two poster cars of the day. Just have to remember that those were the days of in your face angles and wings instead of the gorgeous curves of eairler sports cars. Still, you have to admire the skill it took for one man to accomplish such a massive undertaking.

A few more pictures from my brief visit today

Any guesses on what the tail lights are from?

Massive 345/35 VR 15 tires on Gotti wheels. These PIRELLI CINTURATO P7 are famous for being introduced on the Lamborghini Countach, it was the widest tire in the world fitted to a production car (1978)!

The interior made me think of Knight Rider with the TV and button-laden overhead console:

Taillights: They look familiar, BMW? I can't place them, though the back to back treatment reminds me of the Griswold's Wagon Queen Family Truckster.
