New club forming?

Post by Revbang »

All you salt water state roadster owners have almost all the Roadster clubs! There is talk about forming a club right in the heart of America! Eric Frisbee, I met him last week, has moved to near St. Louis. He was instramental in starting the WyCROC. He, and others, are talking about MADROC (unless there's a Mid Atlantic ROC?). Heart of America(HOAROC) would be OK too. I have already heard of half a dozen people in the Missouri area who are interested. Let me know of anyone in the heart of America who may be interested and I'll add'em to the growing list. We don't have a Shasta (I'd love to see pictures too!), but maybe we can have Budwiser Run, designated drivers only (that'd be me!)! Let me know. Mark

There is a MADROC - Mid Atlantic DROC...

You could go for Miss ROC and have the Miss ROC beauty pageant....

I'm also talking with Eric on this one. I live in the St. Louis area too. The Mid Atlantic guys already claimed the MADROC name....so we are trying to get creative and come up with something you can remember and pronounce. Eric suggested we cast a wide net and include Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Oklahoma, and anyone else in the Midwest region. We may not have Shasta, but we have thousands of miles of great Ozark two lane twisty roads close by. How about Midwest Roadster Owners Club.....MROC... for short?

I'M IN!

I'm bi-coastal, I live in Tulsa, OK and Bentonville, Ark. so a Mid-States ROC would ROCK! I've also got 2 more buddies who would be interested too! Based out of Tulsa.....OCROC! "Oil Capital Roadster Owners Club"?1? CSROC..."Central States Roadster Owners Club".....I could go on and on! Hey! I'm IN for the St. Louis Bud Brewing Run....then we're off to Golden to see Coors! This could get interesting!!!

How about MidRoc? Or MidWest ROCrs (my wifes favorite)

Looks like we missed a beautiful weekend this past weekend! Hopefully we can get together in the Spring with a bunch of running roadsters! I can't wait! I have 2 running right now with another two that aren't too far off.

Don't tease about a Brewery run! That could actually happen! I bet WyCROC would be all over joining us at Golden to tip a few! Those guys are CrAzY! haha!

I'm THERE!!

Desi,

There is a club out of Fresno and one in Modesto.<Gee Lou, sorry for the mistake  --and a nice house it is too!> Lou Smaldino would be the best contact for the club in Fresno. He is on this board from time to time looking for new blood and giving me a hard time. 8) Let us see if he checks in.

Steve:

What's going on with the Race car, how come you selling it???

Why don't you just Auto-X it.

What other big purchase you got up your sleeve.

I rarely look into the Club Banter Forum since, like Mark said, they all seem to be near saltwater. There was a Ohio ROC, but I think I've heard that it's inactive. Anyway, St. Louis is about 3-3.5 hours from me and meeting some fellow Roadster owners would be great. I think my car could make that trip. Maybe.

There's also a guy that posts on the solo2.org site from the St. Louis area that has a Roadster. If this flies, I'll let him know. His car runs, but he considers it a project.

RE:Email Address In Your Profile

Post by S Allen »

Hey Ponder,

Do you have a new email address? Every time something tries to get sent to you I get a MAILER-DAEMON@hostarea52.com<Error>
"Hi. This is the qmail-send program at hostarea52.com. I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses. This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out. <smbacker@fullnet.com>"

Can you please update your profile with a good email address? Thanks.

Ponder,

Something is still wrong as it does not like that email address. Is it correct?
