Can’t get the bar evenly situated in the center link perches. This has been a problem with a new Competition bar install attempt and now also the stock thickness bar.

Has anyone had a similar problem installing that could share the fix? This install attempt was done with car on its suspension (not jacked up) as images depict. On Driver’s side end link is about 1/2” sticking out of bushing. On Passenger side, bar is only about 1/2 way inside bushing.

I am pretty sure it does not matter but will ask, do these bars install just one way or can either end be swapped into end links?

Remove the control arm clips, loosen the chassis saddles, centre the sway bay in the chassis mounts, then re-instal the control arm clips.

Are the chassis saddles the clamps that hold the round bushings in center (2)?

Not familiar with the terminology.

I think those are the center clamps. Additionally, install it loose until you get it centered, i.e., don't fully torque anything until it's symmetric.

Some spray lube and a rubber mallet may be helpful too. Spray the ends and mounts with the mounts loosened up, and smack it with the rubber mallet until you're happy with its position. Tighten.

Yes silicone spray , it's usually a 2 man job on the ground if it's done quickly

Thanks for the recommendations. I attempted with something similar. Notice in the pictures, the gloss finish appearance on the corners/ends of the bar. That is this heavy,tacky urethane
bearing grease by Energy Suspension. Applied inside bushing and outer surface on the end-link bushings.

Would the silicone spray provide a better outcome than this bearing grease?

Can Front End alignment be set without the swaybar installed or installed off-center as it is pictured presently? I have an appointment for alignment but will have to reschedule as the bar is not sorted yet, unless there is not dependent impact.

The sway bar will not interfere with the alignment process.

No, the adjustment of the upper arms is where the wheel specs are set.
Further, the slip joints on the lower arms allow the sway bar to operate without interfering with the wheel settings.
