Love those three seaters. Is that back seat still viable with the soft top down under the boot cover?

Great shots Ted! I enjoyed your drives, and even if you didn't get to do shows you certainly got around the state and beyond, so thanks for sharing. Do you have a favorite car?

Great photos! I am envious of the miles you were able to drive in 2020. Just totaled up mine... 2400 miles on the '69 1600 and 1600 miles on the '67.5 2000. Let's hope that we are both able to drive a lot more in 2021!

63 and 64 3 seat 1500's have the old British style top.
Top is separate from the frame and is carried in the trunk. No top boot.
The 3rd seat is a great conversation piece but impractical.
You sit very high and it is windy and scary at speed.

63 miles in the past 6 years. All on New Year's day weekend.
She will definitely see more road as I complete mechanical and sheet metal items.

I got my '64 running late last fall. The odometer shows 2.5 miles more that when it was brought to Washington in 1979. Need to get some bodywork done, then I will put on more miles.
No shows attended due to the virus.
Looked into getting another '64 but, could not get the deal done.

Got the 68 1600 exterior body work finished July 2020. Was at body shop for a whole year, almost exactly. Drove it 9 miles, over heated, towed home. At mechanics since. Promises back this winter, it has been moved up to his shop 2nd bay where he has to look at it everyday ;)
I am causiously optimistic that THIS is the year I get to drive it for some real miles and give the previous owner who is now 94 a ride in it.
Maybe even take it to a show. Owned car 8 years. Have put 25 miles on it.
