Holley has been making some nice solutions for EFI conversions. They also offer an under the hood surge tank and fuel pump set up that inspired my own surge tank with an internal fuel pump set up (mine is located under the car). The in-tank set up is pretty cool and would likely be more quiet and would not need the low pressure lift pump I use to feed my surge tank (that pump is louder than my high pressure pump!). The Holley systems are nice, complete and simple. The biggest issue I had with any of the available after market systems was the cost. I'm sure I have less than $120 into my pumps and surge tank and I didn't have to drop my fuel tank, where as the Holley system runs $300-450, with the hydramat being in the $400+ systems. Without the hydramat you run the risk of fuel starvation that shouldn't occur with the surge tank. As often happens in my case, budget becomes an issue!

That's a really nice, small and complete set up. Finding a spot in a Roadster was not easy, and I have more room with no battery up front etc. But it's 8.5" height is really nice and would work well in the trunk. I mounted my square/rectangle tank under the car. I'm using a 42S lift pump and it is a bit noisy, however with the car running I can't hear it, or my high pressure pump. If it starts to bug me I'll look into the Carter pump, thanks!
