from the bottom, or does the entire drive train need to be pulled? 40 years ago  when my 67 was garaged the only real mechanical issue was that there was a small chunk of the rear cone casting missing at the rear seal resulting in a small leak. I suspect my Sister ran something over as she owned the car from 1974 to 1979. Possibly only a damaged rear seal would need to be replaced and not the cone as well, wishful thinking most likely. Anyway probably a mute point if the engine is irreversibly frozen from the sitting.

Nope
I've only tried it twice ...on b210 and a 260z

It has 13-4 inches to come back
