Trunk lid compatibility?

Post by Hrspowr »

Searched google, and cant find the definitive answer.

What years are interchangable for trunk lids?

I have a 1968, will a 1967 1/2 lid fit? Mines rusted, and I think I have a line on an earlier lid.

Thanks!

I found one part number for the deck lid in my Nissan part book.
My junk pile:
71 Jeep Gladiator. Restored w/#s matching engine. My WeeBeasty
70 1600 legit 2nd owner. Stroked and bored
Several salvaged w access to a barn full of parts, part cars & whole cars
......What's in the barn is for sale. What do you need?

66-70 are all basically the same if I recall. 63/64 and then 65 were different (going from memory)

62-64 3 seat 1500s are one, 65 1500 2 seater is unique, and 65-70 1600/2000 trunk lids is the third. The first have external hinges and T handle lock. The second have external hinges and the more familiar key lock on the rear panel.

I have a lid from a late car if your other one falls through. I’m east coast though.
