How do i convert my front brake drums to disc using the earlier models? What are my options?

You need the entire hub assembly from a disc brake car. It’s pretty much unbolt the A-arms, remove the entire setup, bolt the A-arms from the other car.

I think, not positive, the 1500 a-arms and ball joints would work, yes? just switch out the disc spindle-axle/disc/calipers.
If not, the above method will work - plus switch to 14" rims.

Reviving this old thread, to provide insight.
I converted my 64's drum brakes to disc back in 2014. I replaced the entire hub spindle assembly, as "Datsun 1500" described, and kept the 64 A-arms. However, when comparing the 64 hub/ spindle to the later style hub/ spindle they looked nearly identical, although the later style hubs were thicker. The later style hub with disc brakes, pushed out (towards the fender) the entire assembly noticeably.
