I am in need of a top thermostat housing for my 67 Fairlady roadster. Some one has made a home made one but it is quit ugly and the cap don't fit. I have looked around and they are telling me either out of stock or no longer available. Its the one with the 4 holes. My car has been sitting a very long time. I also have a question? on my carbs there are hard lines coming out that seam to go to no where, and one is broke off at the bolt that holds them on. Can i buy these and what are they for. I think they are fuel return lines but not sure. Thanks.

Add some photos and that will help show your situation. You'll want to reduce the size of the photos if you are using a cell phone to take the photos. There are many apps to do this once you transfer them to your computer. I use PIXresizer because I find it easy to use and it is free.

If you can't find one, get a water neck from an L series or U20, and an inline filler from a speed shop.

Look on ebay. I got one from Datsun Dan on there for $40.00. For $80.00 yo can get one with the studs.

Hard to tell without a picture, but the hard lines to nowhere sound like the overflow tubes on the float bowl covers. These can be reproduced or hoses can be substituted. They need to be there to carry excess fuel out and below the exhaust manifold.
