Heater core removal

I have dash out. I am thinking about getting heater core flushed etc. any suggestions on removal?

Well while this thread is alive is it necessary to remove the Dash to R&R the Blower / Heater Core (66/67)?

Thanks, one would think that would be the case, but I read another thread where someone stated that's what they had to do.
