A fellow out of Tulsa just registered his $500 67 2 liter find. SRL311-00161. She is a little rough but what a score. Hopefully he will join us some day.

Here are a few pictures.

Always nice to see another 67 survivor. This one is going to take some work but will be well worth the effort when done.

He's been on Facebook and I invited him here. It's a neat project

Opens wallet, takes out $50,000. Presto, restored car. Unless of course they have the skills or friends that do.

I figure I'll have close to 30k in the one car when I'm done with most of it spent on the body. Had I known the skill of the guy that is fixing my cars I would have just spent the money on the original body and got out cheaper.

Hope it stays on track and gets done.

That's pretty cool to hear...and I hope joining this group helps with the resto. It's sure exciting to start a resto, but I get depressed knowing my adventure has been 20 years long now (only 8 with the 67 2000), I'm in $14K net spent after all of my years collecting, buying, selling, giving away etc. (not including some recent JT and Dean purchases) and I'm still so far from actually driving the car. I hope you get the car on the road and enjoy it!

How cool, I live next door to Tulsa. I hope he jumps on board here. I’d love to see it!

Lots of patina. Authentic patina, not the stuff you can buy in a rattle can.

Hope the buyer got all the storytelling he could from the seller. The provenance on a car like this can add a lot to its value, and I don't mean monetary.
