Is East Coast Roadster still building distributors?

Post by Habitat.pat »

I've been trying to contact East Coast Roadsters to order a kit but their web site has been down for months. Does anyone have contact information for them? I've been using www.eastcoastroadster.com, as listed on this site under vendors.

Thanks.

Peace,
Pat

Odd, I just tried the vendor link from my laptop & it worked. Tried it again from my iphone & it didn't. Don't know what the problem is but at least I can now contact them.

I had the same issue a week or so back on my cellphone where I would just get some generic ECR webpage with no working links. Starting a few days back specifically on my Desktop all is now well with their website.

Hi All:
I have checked each time people have mentioned the website issues, and I can never find an issue. It maybe a cell phone OS thing. I can always be reached at Tom AT Eastcoastroadster DOT com.

I just checked again on my Android Moto Cell Phone, same error. OP Apple issue and now Android issues. You might want to confirm with support the problem isn't on your end. This is what I see when trying to access via Cell. When I click on any option is just comes up with the text disclaimer seen on the bottom "All prices and specifications.......

For some reason the site is not rendering a “mobile” version. If you are on a phone, you should be able to “request desktop site” and then it should work. Here is a pic of that procedure on an iPhone...in chrome, I just clicked the 3 lil dots in the bottom right corner (this will be different amongst different browsers and phones):

I can not see the installation and troubleshooting guide PDF, it gives a 404 code. All else is visible.

Tech Wiki has some install and troubleshooting info from G Boone
I would like to see some post purchase maintainence info on the EastCoast site, such as proper grease to use.
Otherwise these units are so durable, and limited lifetime warranty, can’t beat that.
Also like the fact that Tom, owner #3, provides great tech support even on a unit purchased from G Boone, owner#1, from whom I got my EI years ago. I am all in on good customer service!

I just ordered one from Tom. Initial email, to build, to ship, was little over a week! I'm not even ready to work on the distributor yet, so many other things to fix up first! LOL
