Not that I would ever sell my recently restored baby. I am interested in what my 67.5 SR311 #518 may be worth.
It had a off body restoration to take care of minor rust and frame straightening issues. This was a good off body restoration, but not a total tear down.
Engine, head and transmission rebuilt, new brakes, new tires, electrical has been gone through. Interior redone (dash pad is not factory correct). Right fender, rocker panel and door not original.
I do have one major confession, It does not have the original block. The rebuilt block does not have a engine number that I can find and the Car ID tag does not have a engine number. So is that a big issue ? Looking forward to opinions from the experts.

Not an issue in my mind. Others may disagree.

Since these are very rare here in the US, my guess for a full frame-off like this one would be $100k+, especially on Bring A Trailer.
Anything less in terms of restoration quality/age would obviously command less.

Wow, thats a great looking Roadster. So nice to see another RHD with that kind of detail. My car is not restored to that detail. But I would be comfortable saying its about 70%.
Whats your opinion of not having the original block? From what I have read, because there's no number on the ID or number on the block. It should not affect the value that much.

$100,000 wow! I think a well restored 67 and a half with solex’s might bring 50 to 60 and a RHD might add another 10%. At a hundred grand you are adding 40 to 50% value. While RHD might be rare in the US, Japan and Australia each have a fair amount of them. But what do I know, every time I see one sell on BAT I’m a little surprised. Of course you only need two bidders with a big ego to exceed market value

Freshly-restored, concours level '67 2000s sell privately(and at auction) for much more than 50-60k.

a RHD 67.5 that was restored (like the white one above) sold for over $100,000 USD about a year ago, so I don't think that number is off. There are more LHD 67.5 cars than there are of the RHD versions, so I think that number is very reasonable for an exceptional example.

I do not think the replacement block is a big deal either (assuming it still has the correct non-smog head) as the number is not listed with the VIN on the RHD tag.

The head is original. I'm a little taken back by just the 50 to 60 K est. But if someone wants to give me 100K let me know.
