Is it my imagination or are there alot of Roadster sales happening in the last several months? Seems like there are many new members introducing themselves, which is great, so perhaps the Board is just more visible.
Happy for the new owners but sad for the old owners.
Maybe economy/ Covid related too.

Sadly-Linda has passed away 2022. She was the 311's den mother and drove the first Rare-Parts ball joint project. RIP.

I’ve thought the same thing too Linda. Seems that a lot of old time members appear to be dropping off the board, but lot’s of new blood too. Also there seems to be a current pricing bubble, so maybe some are seeing it as the time to sell before it bursts!

I've noticed some patterns in people's expenditures. I think that is the way to put it. Some owners with compromised paychecks may be motivated to sell but I've also seen an uptick in spending for some. It seems that those with secure incomes are spending on house and yard maintenance. Buying a toy that you can use might be in that category. Personally, staying home means not spending money. Also we canceled a planned two month trip that had the pleasant result of us having a large balance on the credit card in the plus column.
Bottom line it may be a combination of some people needing money and some people suddenly finding money.

Keep in mind that I am very aware of how fortunate we have been so far. We have given out a few very big tips for coffee and paid a few people for the service they usually do but could not do this time. We have supported the local small guy when possible. To us this is a share the pain thing.
Now back to Roadsters.
