Gas tank cleaning

If I remove gas tank. Should I put new sending u it it? It’s got original one in now. Chris

Only way to know is to test the unit itself eh? They can be replaced in car if needed.

I guess question is. Assume it’s 100 percent working. If it’s original should I replace. Chris

ain't broke, don't fix - though - not a bad idea to have a spare - same with alternator (stock) water pump, starter, fuel pump rebuild kit (if rebuildable), brake/clutch rebuild kits, spare fuel filter, FWIW - I have all of these as backups, so I don't have to find right away. Just my 2c
