Car club friend of mine was over a couple of weeks ago and saw my garage setup...
So, being a computer geek, he spun this off his 3D printer:
You can pop the legs off and adjust the height. Perfect for stacking the Hot Wheels...

10' to the drywall, 9'6" to the laminated support beam. Plenty of room for roadsters and my 50" tall Zed cars...

Nice. Not having typical garage door opener with chain drive gives you the extra headroom.
That was part of my design setup... I searched for a decent roll-up door to maximize overhead room as I know it would be close.
