a couple of what's its?
Found a "brace" and what looks like shield. Both have the same bolt pattern as engine mounts. Any input appreciated. TIA Pat

That is a pair of the heat shield mounting brackets for the low windshield cars. One has the heat shield attached. The other is bent.

What would be the correct color to paint the shield and engine mount?

Hear shield was black, the bracket was the same color as the block.

Try the VHT hi temp paint. Works well and very durable
