Gorgeous country. (grew up in Stockton, lotta time spent on Boy Scout adventures up there)
Recommend Murphys Grade Road, (going out of Angels Camp) though very little up that way connects in terms of a loop, so just left going back down the way you came. (and HiWay 4 usually stuffed with RV's and logging trucks)
