This was clipped from the Orange County or Los Angeles Auto Trader when I was a kid. It was too much money my tastes.

It would have been sometimes in the early or mid eighties.

Did you call the number to see if it is still for sale? LOL

I think that would be a lot of money for that car in the 80’s. Seems like a bargain now!

I agree. If that was mid-80's, $5800 could have got you a musclecar that could be heaven knows how much now.

We could probably do a thread on cars we have all lost out on. I remember an MGTF from the 50's that I had my eye on. I really wanted an older one and the $800 he was asking seemed to rich for me in the mid 70's.

I test drove a 260 Cobra in 1967, $5800 was too rich for a me as I was just out of high school. Bought a 60 Pontiac Catalina Convert. from the guy for $100 with a broken shift lever.
