1500/1600 Float Valve - Looking for Aftermarket Part # ?

Need to replace my float valves (the little brass pieces that screw into the inside of the float bowl lids) on my 1500. The 1500/1600 use the same valves. The 2000's have a different valve.

Does anyone know a cross reference for an aftermarket part# for the float valve for the 1500/1600?

Thanks.

Ebay had rebuild kits by a company called Keyster, I believe. Not sure about some discussion about needing a washer in the lid to bring it out a bit more. Try a Search on that.
Otherwise the float valves worked for me

And here it is

Thanks, Linda.

I had purchased one of these kits previously, however it came with the later 2000/240Z valves, rather than the 1500/1600 valves (As pictured).

I actually have an open question to them to confirm which valves would be shipped.

Thank you!

Z-therapy has a pair for $30. Their part number ZT31-608. Also, I found a grose-jet replacement for the needle valve it's part number HI-601. I haven't been able to find a place to buy it though...

I have some new genuine Nissan ones but they are pricey. Grose jet ones don't work well because the balls get stuck. I have some grose jet somewhere?

Just wondering if you received confirmation on what Valves were in the Keyster kit? I bought the Kit a couple months back for when I get to the SU's. I'm not going to be happy if they won't work on the 1600 as that was the reason for buying the kit!!

Edit: My bad, the answer was provided 4 months back on another Keyster thread that I was part of. Hit 60 and it's all down hill.

Before I performed a 311s search on the Keyster SU Rebuild kit yesterday I fired off an email to Sirius Consolidated Inc. up in Canada that is doing the distribution via eBay and their own Website. (and where I bought the Kit)

Question: Hello,

On Nov. 13th I purchased a Kit to rebuild the twin SU carbs for a Datsun Roadster. Your Kit is marketed for both the 1600 and 2000 motor version of the SU Roadster. My Kit had two sets of Needles which would be correct as the needles are different between the 1600 and 2000 version of SU carbs. The question is that the Float Needle Valves are also different (with a few possible exceptions) between the two different versions but only one set was provided. I need the Float Valves for the 1600 Roadster, is that what I received? Is there a method (no instructions were provided) to use these valves for either the 1600/2000 version with some kind of modification, possibly use of washers?

Please provide feedback. I have not used the Kit, I just wanted it to be available when I got to that point of my restoration later this year.

Thank You,

Response: "We brought these in for a customer special order a few years ago and have a few left but we really don't know much about them , can you visually compare with the one you have if it's the correct valve?"

Well now that doesn't exactly exude confidence in a product they sell. I know that "we have a few left" is deflection. They have been selling this Kit for some time and I KNOW for a fact they showed out of stock at one point late last Summer / Fall before it came back into stock when I bought it. So they have had more than a few Kits and IMO they have an open resupply pipeline. I'll leave it at that.

I have a few genuine Nissan float valves correct for the SPL-311 carbs. They are still in the original factory packaging. The price is $40 each plus shipping. Nissan part number 16101-10400

I just ordered these:

https://datsunparts.com/collections/car ... 9245705400

$26 each.

Earlier I ordered some from https://risingsunracing.com/, but they cancelled due to lack of stock, then took them off their website.
