Wow - Beautiful car, nice to see so much interest! Although it's pretty funny to read some of the comments nitpicking this and that...

Auction closed at $310,000. WOW!

I guess my hopes of finding a clean 240Z under $10K have turned to "dreams"!

Guess I will be hanging on to my '72. I bought mine from the original owner. I used to drive it from Port Hueneme to Petaluma back in late 80's just about every weekend while we were stateside. She still runs good. I have the original block and 4 speed but put a rebuilt L24 and a 5 speed in for cruising the freeway. I had to do a lot of work on her and she has been painted twice so I know I will never get that kind of money out of her. But, I do not expect to sell any ways.

I've wondered where I would price my 1971 as I have considering selling. I found all the hard to get parts and ran out of discretionary Datsun dollars to do the work. I'll probably sell the Roadster to pay for the restoration on the Z.
