Hello from Seattle

Picked up my first roadster over the weekend and started the work needed to make it drive-able as a start. Holding off on a major restoration until we get a few miles on her and decide how far to go. It definitely has an imperfect respray paint job with scratches, dings, acid damage and some pitted chrome. But, it is virtually rust free and almost all the parts are there. It starts and moves and we'll have new tires on it this afternoon to take it for a test run. History is that we bought it from family of second owner. Second owner bought in in early 70's, parked it in 1984 and recently passed away. It sat buried in a garage for 30+ years then grandson did a little work but not enough to make it a driver. Welcome. Looks like she will get some much needed attention. Enjoy.

You may want to come to the NWDE ( Nortwest Datsun Enthusiasts) meeting in Renton on Jan. 4. PM me for details if you are interested. There are lots of Roadster people there.

Would love to but will be out of town. Is there a website for NWDE? Maybe a spring meet up?
