A couple of Porsches, a RAV4 Hybrid, and a motorcycle
All...Thanks for the kind comments about the car...
I had the tires installed last weekend & also had the brake system inspected/ adjusted and new fluids/bled. All the wheel cylinders, hoses, shoes looked good. Unfortunately, the Master Cylinder gave it up during the bleeding process.
Awaiting a new Brake Master, and will hopefully have brakes again in a week or two.
Yes, it is! I have bias ply tires on mine too, but they are OLD!!! I want a set of the wide whites. AFter I get mine cleaned up, I will post some pics...
My car orignally had a pair of 5.60 tires, as well as a pair of 78 series tires.
When I had the old tires removed, I wasn't able to figure out the manufactor date of the 5.60 tires on the car, but the set of 78s (these were the newer of the tires) was listed as 1975!
Crazy thing was...the tires still felt pretty good, even at 70MPH.
Huh? Are you referring to the 41 year old paint's 'patina' on the lower lip of the front valance? Remember, this car has been on the planet about 3X as long as you have been
