and here is what he has said.

[quotemy brother baught this about 3 months ago, he wanted to fix it and keep it, but he was deployed overseas before he got the chance to, so here it is, if anyone is interested make an offer, and we'll see what hapens, my bro had it to a couple body shops when he 1st got it, and the max he was qwoted was $3600, by a place called "blue line collision centre", they specialise in doing this, and they garanteed him that they will bring it back with in a mm of factory specs and mesurments. here is a link for more picshe car has 112400 miles, its starts and drives just fine, i start it every couple of days, and as u can see in the pics the battery has been relocated to the back, the interior is flawless, even the driver seat, which usually wear out on this car, is still in exelant condition, the turbo on it is new, and also has 2 1/2 exhaust piping, no oil leaks what so ever...........make offers and i will run them by my bro everytime i talk to him, but i know he propably wants to get what he paid.[/img]

forgot to mention, car was hit going about 45 MPH, on the driverside front, car is mint, no rust at all.
he said that only what the bumper reinforcment bolts to is bent as frame wise, the steerign ans suspension are still good.
as i see it if it damaged frame wise i can pull the engine ans tranny and swap it into my girls celica and part out the rest of the car and pay it back.

he wants $2200 or best offer, and about $700 max for shipping door to door. im going to offer $1800.

he has to leave by the 19th of this month so im sure hell sell it cheap since he has to move it. is anybody local to Minneapolis MN?

i would change to a cs hood and rc bumper (japan style rally) so i wouldn't be out anyways.

Thanks
Steve

Steve,

What happened to the engine swapped monster that you have been planning? Why throw the towel in on a running driving roadster to buy a wreck? I don't get it....

Besides, the top doesn't go down on that car...
