2020 311s Datsun Roadster Calendar
Posted: Tue Oct 01, 2019 1:27 am
2020 311s Datsun Roadster Calendar pictures can be submitted now through Oct 31.
I am collecting the roadster pictures for Jared. I will forward ALL pictures for his selection.
We WILL have the Calendar done by Dec 1!.
( We say this every year but hopefully it will be true this year!. )
Here are the rules.
Pictures taken in 2019.
Pictures submitted between Oct 1 and Oct 31. NO pictures will be accepted after Oct 31.
Submit as many pictures as you want.
Any 2019 roadster picture can be submitted even if the roadster has been in a prior Calendar.
Send pictures as jpeg attachments (not embedded) to my email. tcheaton@hotmail.com.
If you only have phone pictures that send embedded that will be OK.
Do not send pictures by text or as responses to this thread. They will not be accepted.
Do NOT send pictures directly to Jared.
Subject line should be "2020 roadster calendar pictures from (your name)"
Send pictures at the highest resolution possible. Jared has found that pictures under 3 MB can not be expanded/modified
and still have clarity. You can send pictures of less resolution but there is less chance of them being used.
Send info with each picture. Jared does not have time to go back and ask for picture info if yours is selected.
The more info, the better. Your name and 311s handle, year/model and info about the roadster, date, location, "story", etc.
Pictures with info may take preference and be selected over an "equal" picture without info.
Send the picture info as an attachment if possible. Else write it in the email.
I will send confirmation of receipt of pictures.
Three things to consider for your roadster picture submissions.
1. One roadster in the picture.
Generally, but not always, a picture of a solo roadster is selected for a Calendar month.
The calendar month page features a roadster and an owner and Jared likes to pick individual roadster pictures.
2. Roadster needs to be BIG!
This is a roadster calendar and as you know from the past Jared likes to fill the page with the roadster.
3. NO people in the picture. Jared most often prefers pictures of roadsters without people.
