A few roadster pictures from JCCS. Full report soon.

Ray's '63 SPL310
Ray drove this on the freeway to the show!

I was stuck in the both until ~2pm so I only saw 1/2 of the show. It was great to see many 311s.org faces like Michael Spreadbury (spriso), Ray Lim, Ed, Linda, Mike(RCMIke) and Kevin Desirello.

Thanks for the excellent commentary and pictures, Alvin. Also nice to meet Rob, and thx for his help.
And Ted should be happy as well with your report and pics too.

Sadly-Linda has passed away 2022. She was the 311's den mother and drove the first Rare-Parts ball joint project. RIP.

It was cool seeing Mike Kevin and the Rock Vest car in person. Albeit a short visit it was cool to see. I think I’m going to make a stronger effort to get there again next year for the whole show. Unfortunately all of my photos have been lost.

Cheers

Great show... I wandered about and was happy to get to check out the Rock Vest car in person. Spotted a few of the forum folks I recognized from various posts but everyone was chatting so I kept to myself.

Managed to get Pete Brock to sign a poster and chat with him for a few minutes. Spent the rest of the week in the land of Lambo's and Bentley's down in Newport. Really enjoyed JCCS. Only my second trip to JCCS ever but the quality of the Datsun's and those "other makes" was great.

Seeing the '63 was a real highlight for me. My friend I was with had never seen the early version with the 3rd seat.

Who's SR swapped car was at the front entrance? Also a good looking car.

That’s Harlan’s car, the organizer for Solvang. He has a gorgeous car.
