Hello everyone,

My name is Johnny and I'm in Portland. I now have a 65 1500. There a five main R long-block just sitting there. Obviously nothing matches so that's OK. This is my 8th roadster(I mean, I've actually lost count, naturally) so I kinda know what I'm doing. With a wrench. I'm horrible with computers and the interwebs, so If I do anything rude, please let me know. Here in Portland,Dan did most of my tuning cause he was a magician when it came to it.

Anyway Here I am and I have a question for the community and I'll figure out where it goes later.

Johnny

Welcome Johnny, you look awfully young to have such an advanced Roadster addiction!
Welcome to the forum!

Johnny,

Welcome. What is the plan for this roadster? Glad you joined us.

You can't be that bad with technology ... you have ear buds...unless those are noise suppressors with a really long cord 8) 8)

Welcome and glad to see that you have an exact matching dent in Left-front fender, right between the indicator and grill opening.
I always wondered what it was from, but obvious now from the pic that it is from the top of the over rider being pushed in.
Really hard to get to with a hammer and dolly, so I decided it is a "character mark" and will remain for the foreseeable future.
Great jumping off point, welcome to the organized chaos.

Welcome Johnny! Glad to have another member on here. Might be a silly question but are you in Portland, Oregon or Portland, Maine? Not many know of Portland, Maine but just to be sure haha :)

Wow! Thank you to everybody for the love! I'm not sure what the plan is, but my girl is excited to get greasy and turn wrenches. She learned to drive in a 510, so I figured she can't be all that bad. I'm in Portland, OR. I'm old as dirt, I'm just blessed to not look too bad. It's the driving in sun/rain/snow with the top down that does it.

Y'know I'm curios: has anybody ever seen or heard of a tube chassis? It's beyond my skills and garage at the moment, but one can dream.

Thank you all again for the welcoming words. I just started a second job, and I've never been on a forum, but I will check back in. You all have such beautiful cars and level of addiction as I, it would appear.

Thank you again,

Johnny
