Can someone here help me choose the correct options, on the Wiring Specialties site, for a harness for my SR20 S14? I did not perform the swap (previous owner), but I'd like to clean up the wiring.

This is the ecu, which I imagine is stock.

For the "AFM Option", do I chose "OEM S14/S15 SR20DE MAFS"? My car has a stock MAF.

How do I confirm that the 5 speed transmission is the S14 variant and not the S15?

How about "Chassis Connection Options"?

And I should get the additional "OEM ECU Patch Harness", yes?

much obliged,
Chris

I have a box just like yours (with the three relays) that I purchased and never used once I discovered Wiring Specialties. I can't tell from the pic but the factory ECU should have a designation on it (WR, NA, etc) that will tell you if you have a Kouki or Zenki ECU (if not you will have to verify that what connector you have). That will help you choose the correct ECU connection. This will also help select the correct AFM (which will be stock in your case). I don't think there's any difference in the 5-speeds (electrically) as long as you are using an SR20 tranny and not a KA24. The differences would be in the 6-speed. You shouldn't need a patch harness. As for chassis connections; you will probably want the standalone option. Also make sure you check which coolant sensor connector you have.

My suggestion is that you call Wiring Specialties and talk to them. Yury is a great guy and very helpful.

I second the notion to contact Yuri. I sent him pics of my project. You will also need to know what alternator you using. He provide the Nissan plug, which is compatible with the correct Justy alternator.
The harness was flawless, looks OEM.

Highly recommended. Pat

Shannon, Pat, thanks. So the 'silver' box is the ecu, correct? If so I'll see about opening it up to see what designation it carries (WA, NA, or other).

I've a Subaru Justy alternator in the car.

Yes it is the silver box and the designation is usually a sticker right on the box. Maybe its on the other side or has been removed. The Nissan plug for the alternator will plug directly into the LATER Justy Alternator. As long as you use the alternator that Michael Spreadbury recommends . . . it will plug right in.
