Brake line connection

If you haven't changed all the flex lines in the system your problem could be there. The rubber line connection the rear axle lines to the frame on mine had almost totally collapsed. When I pulled it off I couldn't blow air through it.

All lines changed. Went back last night and re-bled the master. Got a bit of air, but still having same issue. Can pump pedal to get pressure, but it goes away quickly. Going to double check rear adjustments later today....

Think I found it. Pretty sure I feel stupid. When we first put the chassis together about a year ago, we swapped to volvo front brakes. Never charged the system with fluid until now. Spent hours chasing phantom air somewhere in the system, and finally decided to pull everything and start from scratch. Turns out, the Volvo calipers have 3, yes, 3 bleed screws, and you can only see the 3rd if you pull a wheel. Found my air!
And starting from scratch wasn't for naught, as I discovered a very slight weep on a rear cylinder that will need attention.
I hesitate to say problem solved, but the brakes feel like brakes again. I will do one more system wide bleed in a few days to catch any air that may have gotten missed the first time, and get some rebuild kits for the rear cylinders on order. Who's got 3/4 rear seals???? Thanks for the collective wisdom. It did not nail down the problem, but did help eliminate some potentials.

Pretty sure Paul Wells has the seal kits available. Worth contacting him. Glad to hear you got the issue sorted for the most part.
