It has to be certofied by state patrol here , they would flunk it quick. If they saw the starting point So it wont work and he's going to put 15k to 30k that another rebuilder guy says ,in it .
It is a 100k new?

It looks like fire damage from the outside not from the car itself. I think I see brake lines behind the wheels that are not destroyed. That would mean the frame and the engine and the basics are possibly okay and the main damage is body and interior. Maybe doable but at a cost in time and money.
I'm glad he doesn't live next door to me.

Did you see it from the frt @2:50 ?
That kind of heat can harden and make it brittle . hope he shows the aft pics he needs another hellcat to make it right and bet that one would be a much better builder.

I have to revise my earlier thoughts. It looks like it was in a building that burned so that would be like sticking it in a giant oven. The temps were high enough to melt the wheels but not sustained long enough to melt them all entirely. The interior would have burst into flames. All wiring and hoses will have melted or as redroadster pointed out, have heat damage. Today's vehicles have a lot of plastic even if engine plastic is heat resistant, there will be a lot of damaged parts. Metal heads, what happens when you heat metal and throw water on it?
He has a frame, and engine, transmission, and axels. Some of the braking system will be there. Still usable with great effort and lots of time.
My mind traveled down a path of "is it cost effective?" then I thought of my car and all the money and time that has gone into it. If he ever completes it maybe Hellcats will be as rare as our cars. It will be a hobby thing for him but in my opinion his time and talent would be better spent on an older classic car.

Apparently this young looking guy owns a body shop Ive seen a further edition vid where his guys have the floor pan repainted. And thats as far as its gone , I wonder if he has a donor car in mind , like it isnt wrecked yet but that can be arranged.
Looks like all of the man hours that they will be lucky to het paid for
We had a manager at the datsun dealer that did it to his guys .
One day they had 2 big tubs of bearing grease at our parts window , the body shop was down a asphalt slope. Days later they greased the ramp he the manager drove in fast grease caused him to slide into 2 cars

And after all the effort one day he will be the proud owner of an over powered poor handling rental car.
