My rubber pieces wont stay attached to the vertical post on my 66. Is there something I am missing on how these are supposed to be attached? I just have them clipped on into the small channel.

Regards,
Steve

Those fellas [36] are supposed to be bonded to the stainless trim [17,18 & 12,13] which is riveted to the end of the windshield frame: -

AHHHHHHHH! That's the only thing that makes any sense. I had removed the rivets and channels to have my posts re chromed years ago and cleaned up the stainless so I lost that little piece of information.

Thanks so much. Weatherstrip glue it is then.

Steve

What is best to use to "bond" them? Last time I used contact cement but I wasn't happy with that. I recently picked up a tube of 3M Super Black Weatherstrip adhesive.

I used the 3M Super Black on mine over 2 years ago. No problems.

For a lot of the rubber I used a Polyurethane adhesive/sealant.
A bit pricey but sticks like baby do do's to a blanket.
