"They" keep saying it's going to rain this Saturday in the Bay Area, but if the weather is decent, there is a big Datsun/Nissan show in Manteca. Last year there were maybe 200 cars, most of them classic Datsuns. Lots of parts vendors, too.

Just got home from the Datslocos show. Was just starting to rain when I left. Smaller show than last year, I'm sure the weather report kept some people home. There were 3 Roadsters there, all of them red.

A 68 1600, with a 2000 grille and dual Mikunis, owned by Mike from Vacaville. It had a hard top, some gold mesh wheels and what look like 1970 front turn signal lenses.



The 69 1600 used in the flyer for the show, which apparently has a U20 / 5 speed swap. I like the flag fender mirrors.



And, a 70 1600 in the parking lot outside the show, with slotted mags, some very tiny foglights and red piping on the interior.

I though the turnout was pretty good considering the forecast. The 2nd roadster belongs to member “guy”. Got a kick out of the blue corona body that was transplanted on a Miata chassis.
