Hey folks, I see that Infinity Motors is accepting submissions to the Second Japanese Automotive Invitational at Pebble Beach held during this years Concours de Elegance. Aug. 17 and 18.

My wife and I went last year with our 1964 1500. Had a great time. We received complimentary Concourse tickets and some help getting our car there. I have no Idea about how it will work this year. I think Laguna Seca will again have a full racing schedule too.

I know there are lots of awesome roadsters out there.

Sure! I should have mentioned it is open to all Japanese cars, not just roadsters. 410/411 and trucks sedans wagons, what have you? Japanese manufactured. Last year Motor Trend and the California Auto Museum were co-sponsors. This year may be the same. If accepted ones car is planted on the grounds for 2 or three nights. You need a second car to get around in. They spritz and wipe your care frequently and provide security. Our car was there top down of course. It did not rain. I suppose it's good to be in California to make any transportation costs low or easy.

That's a whole new level of car ownership. I would have had a hard time trusting strangers to keep the car clean and safe lol. Still woulda done it for the experience but my car is no where near good enough for such a prestigious event. Bakerjf your car will be a shoe in for sure. Corcoran your 1500 is absolutely fantastic as well. Both perfect examples of better than new automobiles that should be considered the best of the best!

Thanks for the compliment Toptech. Ross at Sports Imports did the restoration in around the year 2000. 19 years or so later it is getting a bit of "Patina". "Car Week" in Monterrey was amazing. Too much to do and see. Hotel prices are insane even as far away as Salinas. We found an Air BnB.

I see various press releases starting to hit the web. Some of the cars have been announced:

I have not seen or heard of any Roadsters yet. There is an interesting 1963 Prince Skyline in the line up.
