What gauge sheet metal is used for the roadster?

I settled on 20 gauge when I was making repair parts and pieces for mine.

Yes. 20ga galvanneal or Paintlok if you can find it.

An alternative to galvanneal or paintlok is weld-through primer. Any place where I was going to be enclosing a space, prohibiting painting the back side, I primed the back side of the piece that I was welding in with the weld-through primer.
