What the HELL did I get myself into?

The restoration has begun on SRL-525. This week I managed to turn #525 into a pile of parts. I should have the body of the frame by the end of the day.
I have the feeling this was the easy part, hope I remember how it goes back together.
I will post some pics later this week. Got to get back to work.

Your going to get yourself into alot of work, fun, anger, frustration, and a whole bunch of other stuff that you'll experience along the way! Have fun!

That's awesome. If you don't have a parts washer, buy one. Definitely worth the money in my experience. Of course you probably already have one.

Damn, I didn't know such a thing existed! I did mine in the laundry sink with about 23 cans of degreaser (actual number, not inflated!) and a ton of elbow grease.
Oh well...

You have embarked on a project that will make the car that much more enjoyable when its done. Doing most/all the work yourself allows you to become much more aware of what you are driving. Thats my experiance anyhow. Good luck, and if you need help putting it back together, you know the place to look.
