THE TIRE SQUEAL 2019 Inaugural Run at the Schweinefiletringâ„¢

Post by leonhart »

I came across this event while searching for Z-car meets (as there aren't really Roadster clubs in the area and the Z clubs accept Roadsters...just in case the Roadster is ever actually running/driving this year).

Anyway, here's a link to the event page: https://schweinefiletring.com

Hoping to take part in this. Well, I want to at least drive the route and hit a couple of the restaurants...maybe not submit pictures or any of that stuff, as I have no desire to try to "win" anything. Mostly I just to find and enjoy some good roads in Indiana – we don't have many twisties around here! Of course, it's a few hours away from my neck of the farmland.

All that said, I'll most likely be driving my FR-S if I do drive the route. I doubt the Roadster will be running, and even if so, probably not well enough that I'd be ready to take that long of a trip in it.

Anyway, thought I'd post it up here in case anyone is interested. I know there aren't a lot of us in the area though!

This is great. I was stationed at the Navy Base on Crane just 35 miles from Bloomington and have fond memories of Indiana (I'm a Purdue grad too)

I wish I could do this!

Yikes, what a sandwich!

Sadly-Linda has passed away 2022. She was the 311's den mother and drove the first Rare-Parts ball joint project. RIP.
