Wheels wheels wheels

Post by Pjackb »

Hey guys I’m in the market for wheels for my Roadster so if you have anything you’re thinking of letting go please let me know

I don’t have anything specific in mind and fairly open to suggestions , i would prefer 15s but open to other sizes
Really like Classic JDM wheels (the cheaper ones  )

Thanks

Is the vehicle your planning to put wheels on a low or high windshield? The fenders are a bit different.

Alvin ,
I really don’t have many pictures yet of the car since it’s not in my possession yet , it’s being “ mechanically refreshed” for me and will only be ready this spring around mid-may time frame

Target is to have for Haitian Mother’s Day (May 26th) and take my mom for a nice Sunday drive to church ,she’s not been very well lately and I know she’d love that little pleasure with her son

Here’s the only real decent one I have for now

Agree, they look great, unless you want something unique. If you change the wheels, bring those (and yourself and the car) to Watkins Glen in September, someone will be happy to buy them.

These are nice looking but nothing special , they’re 14x 4.5” chromed steel wheels with an aluminum center
Ideal tire width is 155 which is much smaller than I prefer,

Thanks to all that reached out to offer wheels, I appreciate the offers

I wanted if possible to find some JDM wheels and I’ve found a set I like and will be receiving them next week
They are made in Japan Dunlop Lemans T-E from the 70s with the following specs
2x_14 x 6 offset +4
2x_14 x 6.5 offset +8
These are welded 3 pieces aluminum and weight about 5.5kg (12.5 lbs)

These are the wheels in their current condition

The plan is to refinish the centres in the original gold or Corvette Steel City Gray and mirror polish the lips

LOVE THEM! Exactly what I would have been looking for before I found the Cosmic. Never seen those before, and they would work well with my black and gold theme! Congrats!

Picked up a few more sets
Not sure which ones I will run but will have some choice

Green car is on a set of Rota 16x7 ET10 but I haven’t seen it in the flesh yet to know if I like it

In the meantime picked up a set of 15x7 Panasport Z with 205/50s , but a friend made an offer I could not refuse so they’re spoken for
