I'm a newbie from Nebraska and couldnt pass this deal up. I had never seen, or heard of a Roadster until I saw this one. Looking forward to working on it.

Great job! You can't go wrong with ANY running car for $500, but a Roadster is a steal! Tell us more details and we'd love to see an under the hood shot.

Also take a look on here for my threads about the Cowles stick on side trim - it super cheap and looks almost exactly like original. Get those big black strips off the side :-)

Cheers
James

Wow what a great buy! $500 for a Roadster is great especially based on the pics. Even a shell could sell for more than that. How’s the rust? Any engine pics? Welcome to the club and obsession ;)

For 500 bucks I pretty much expect a giant rubber band where the engine should be..... :smt005

Looks like a ridiculously good buy. I felt like mine was a good deal when I bought it for $100 more than you paid. But mine has ugly paint, rust, had half the wiring done, the dash was in the trunk, and hasn't run since I bought it. So, I think you got an amazing deal. Enjoy!

WHAT...wait a minute...this must be fake news!!!!!! :smt033

Great find!!! $500-unbelievable. But beware...that's just a drop in the bucket...especially is the addiction becomes full blown!!! :smt040
