Back from Upholstery - Now It's really done!

Picked up my roadster from Statler's Upholstering in Gettysburg PA. John S has worked there for years and has done numerous award winning interiors. He's definitely one of the hard to find good guys. Seat covers are Mr. Mikes leather Miatas which I had covered myself. John took care of the rest with matching vinyl and red stitching.

Sorry for the crossways pictures. Why does it do that???

Steve

I suppose they're never really "done"

But, I'm ready to move on to the next project. It's a Mopar, not a Datsun. That being said, I could certainly get excited about an LS 240Z project. I remember when the 1970 240Zs came out and they were touted as being as quick as a 69 302 z28. Not sure that was factual at the time, but as a young'n I thought it was pretty darned cool.

Looks great! I love the color scheme.

Might as well start of in a 280z for it's stronger frame and lower initial cost for an LS build. There are some really nice builds out there.

Moving on to a new project means this one's going up for sale?

Nope -No sale I've had this car since 1974. It was my high school and college daily driver. Parked it in the barn in 79 and pulled it out and started this project in June 2010. I'm glad I didn't keep receipts:)

Steve

Is that Black or more of a graphite? That is a nice combo! And red piping makes it pop.

looks great, Steve. Can't wait to see some 1/4 mile times! I just used some inexpensive jeep seats until I can redo the original 67.5 seats.
