Would be nice to have 1 thread with all the info in it, as each new thread loses info from previous ones.

Did a dry run today. It finally stopped raining here in So.Cal! Had to blow some carbon out of the cylinders!

Hey folks, I had a few questions about the event
- how many cars usually show up on average?
- what’s a good time to arrive on Friday (I’m not bringing a car)
- I was planning to leave Saturday around 6-7pm will I miss anything other then the dinner ?
- what’s a must see in the area

Thanks
Jacques

Jack,
-Usually ~80+ cars
-Friday get to the museum ~5:30pm to visit the gas station museum meet/greet.
-If you can, on Saturday get to the show by 9am. You will see the hustle and bustle of staging the cars on the empty Main St. It gives me chills every year. And you get to see/photograph cars in good light with owners nearby before general public crowds
-The dinner is the last event on saturday
-All of downtown Solvang is a must see. Nojoqui Falls is beautiful. Goleta State Beach is also nearby.

How many years in a row can you be in the "work in progress " category? I think I may be stuck in this one for years and years ..haha

There are a couple of nice ones on Ebay, if you're in the 13 to 15K range.

That white one has been on sale for a while... It's Jekyll and Hyde when you compare the exterior and undercarriage.
The New York one only has one picture... Safe to say both are overpriced.?

ETA: NY one has more pics in description.

I didnt see the photos of the undercarriage before. You are right. It is rough. This is my undercarriage. A california car with only 32K original miles. I didnt think that mine looked so good until I saw the other undercarriage.
