Air filter

Anyone know the part# of an air filter that will fit the 1600 SU air cleaner? I tried the recomended Ford Lynx filter on the parts interchange list, and it is not a good fit. Thanks

I now for a fact this one fits as I installed one. So maybe I should remove the Ford Lynx air filter?? What did not work out about it?

I have a K&N as well works good. Its easy to install just tying to get it in is fun! LOL

No, don't take it out, It actually works and for $5, I shouldn't complain. it's about half the thickness of the stock filter and fits on the inner dimensions of the cleaner oval, so it leaves an inch space all the way around. It's also a little tricky to bend without creasing it. Thanks for the K&N link.
