Long time owner, new to the group

Wanted to introduce myself, Jeremy Graeber in Oviedo, FL. Proud owner of 1967.5 1600, SPL311-12214, R-48337. Was my Dad’s starting in 68, made its way all over the country when I was kid. Ended up as my daily driver in high school in the late 80s. Bought it from my Dad mid-90s and have had it ever since. Drove it off and on until about 5 years ago when I had an ignition problem. It has been sitting ever since. I am trying to get her up and running again so I may be asking a lot of questions. Thanks in advance!

I am trying to do as much as I can myself, but would be interested if any knew of a good mechanic in the Central Florida area that has experience.

Can't help with the mechanic, but pretty cool that it's been in the family so long!

It’s been affectionately known as “the little car” and has been in the family longer than me!

I too am not far up the road in Ocala, I would be happy to try to carve out some time one Saturday or Sunday with some notice. I have limited tools here, but am very good with 67.5 1600's as that is what I have. There is very little that I have not tackled at some point.

See, what did I say, Family! Across the county, across the Planet, or just up the road! Pretty cool.

The car has not only survived, but it has made it thru all those hurricanes in 50 yrs. Wow!
Glad it is still around for your family!

If you want to make it a roadster get together, let me know. I'll try to round up some folks.

Looks great! You need a couple of odds and ends, but it looks remarkably solid. It could be a restarting party!
